Keepy is a one-tap keepy-uppy game. The ball drops and you tap to kick it just as it reaches your foot. Your timing is your aim: kick right on the sweet spot and the ball pops straight up for a PERFECT, kick early and it flies left, kick late and it flies right, and a kick that's well early is a low shank. Your blob shuffles under the ball by itself, but only so fast, so wild kicks quickly get out of reach. Wind gusts push the ball around and gravity creeps up the longer you go. Every day there's a new game, and your friends' ghosts juggle beside you.
How to play Keepy
- Tap anywhere to kick when the falling ball reaches your foot. The dashed ring shows the sweet spot.
- Kicking right on the ring sends the ball straight up. Early kicks go left and late kicks go right.
- Your player moves under the ball on their own. Keep the kicks clean so they can keep up.
- Don't let the ball touch the grass. Every kick is a point.
Tips to get a high score
- Watch the ball's shadow. It grows as the ball comes down, which helps you time the kick.
- Don't tap too early. A whiff leaves your leg recovering while the ball drops past.
- PERFECT kicks in a row climb in pitch, and every fifth one pays a coin.
- When the flag warns of wind, expect the ball to drift and give your player a moment to follow.
- Knock the ball through the floating coins to collect them.
Faster drops, slower feet
Over the first minute, gravity gets about 75% stronger, and after that it keeps creeping up. A PERFECT kick's full trip up and down shrinks from about 1.7 seconds to about 1.3. The ball also reaches your foot faster, so every timing window gets shorter in real time.
Meanwhile your blob slows down. Its shuffle speed drops by about a quarter over the same minute, so a kick it could chase early on is out of reach later.
Wind starts at 14 seconds. The flag warns about 1.2 seconds before each gust, which builds up over a moment and blows for 3 to 5 seconds. Late gusts are about three times as strong as the first ones, and the calm spells between them get shorter.
The kick window is mostly early
Every kick is a point, even a shank. The kick window opens a good way above the sweet spot and closes just below it, where the ball hits the grass. So nearly all of the window is on the early side.
Close to the ring is a PERFECT and a bit further is GOOD. Only early kicks can be shanks, because a late kick reaches the grass before it can go that wrong. A GOOD kick still goes about seven-eighths as high as a PERFECT, but a shank only goes about two-thirds as high.
PERFECT kicks go almost straight up, so your blob barely has to move. Every fifth PERFECT in a row pays a coin, and the floating coins always hang low enough for a PERFECT to reach. Coins are for hats and don't add to your score.
Whiffs and wandering kicks
Tapping when the ball isn't in the window is a whiff: too early, while it's still rising, or when it's out of reach to the side. Your leg then needs about a quarter of a second to recover, which is longer than the ball takes to fall through the whole window. An early whiff almost always means a dropped ball, so if you're unsure, tap a hair late rather than early. A whiff also resets your PERFECT streak.
Sideways drift adds up. Timing sends the ball left or right, and so does where it hits your foot. If it's off to one side, the kick pushes it further that way. Add some wind and your slower blob can fall behind.
The side walls bounce the ball back with most of its speed, so a wide kick isn't lost. Your blob just has further to shuffle. Clean PERFECTs are what keep it under the ball.

FAQ
Why does the ball fly sideways?
Your timing aims the kick. Kicking a little early sends it left, a little late sends it right, and right on the sweet spot sends it straight up.
Do I need to move my player?
No. Your player shuffles under the ball on their own. You only choose when to kick.
Is it free?
Yes. Every Tapamine game is free to play in your browser with no download and no account.
Does it work on my phone?
Yes. Tapamine is built for phones first: portrait, one thumb, and it works offline after your first visit. It also works with a mouse or the spacebar on a computer.
How do challenges work?
After a run, tap “Challenge a friend” to send a link. Your friend plays the exact same level and races your ghost — a replay of your run — to see who wins.
