Wall Hop

Climb. Don't look down. A free one-tap game.

Play nowTap to leap

Wall Hop is a one-tap climbing game. Your blob clings to a wall and slowly slides down; tap to leap to the other wall. Time each jump to thread the gates, dodge the spikes and climb faster than the rising tide.

How to play Wall Hop

  1. Tap to leap from one wall to the other.
  2. While you cling to a wall you slowly slide down.
  3. Climb through the gaps in each gate and avoid the spikes.
  4. Keep climbing — the tide below is rising.

Tips to get a high score

How the climb in Wall Hop speeds up

Wall Hop ramps up over roughly the first 70 seconds of a run and then stays at full difficulty. The tide is the clearest sign: it starts at a crawl and ends up rising about three and a half times faster.

The tide also has a leash. If you build a big lead, it speeds up to close the distance, so you can't bank a huge cushion and then relax.

The shaft fills up too. The opening is all bars, wall spikes and ledges. A little after 20 seconds, saw blades start sweeping side to side across the middle, and after about 35 seconds you also meet ledges with a spike strip waiting on the opposite wall just above them. Spike strips get longer, bars get wider, saws swing faster and hazards sit closer together. Late in a run you also slide down the walls faster.

Timing every leap

Every leap follows the same fixed arc. You cross the shaft in about two-thirds of a second, peak about two-thirds of the way across, and land roughly three and a half meters above where you took off. You can't steer, so the only choice is when to let go, and because you slide while you wait, waiting means taking off lower.

That turns the far wall into a timing puzzle. If a spike strip sits where you would land, leap now to land above it, or slide a moment longer and land below it. For a bar in the middle, either take off high enough to pass over it near the top of your arc or low enough to pass under it.

Ledges that stick out of a wall are safe perches. Slide down onto the top of one and you stop slipping, a good moment to time a saw. The tide keeps rising, though, so treat a perch as a pause, not a rest stop.

Your score is the highest point you reach, in meters, with a fanfare every 25 m. Coins go into your coin total for hats rather than your height. Leaping again within about half a second of landing builds the combo pop-ups, which reward rhythm but don't add meters.

Mistakes that end Wall Hop runs

Hanging on too long is the big one. The slide accelerates, so every extra moment costs more height than the last.

Spikes only hurt while you're on a wall, but that includes sliding down into a strip below you, not just landing on one. Check what's under you before you wait out a saw.

Ledges are only safe when you slide onto them. Touch one at any point during a leap, even dropping onto its top mid-arc, and the run is over.

Saws keep moving while you fly, so judge where the blade will be when you reach it. And be wary of coins: many sit just off the safe line, placed to tempt a late leap.

FAQ

Can I jump in mid-air?

No — you can only leap from a wall. That's what makes the timing matter.

Is it free?

Yes. Every Tapamine game is free to play in your browser with no download and no account.

Does it work on my phone?

Yes. Tapamine is built for phones first: portrait, one thumb, and it works offline after your first visit. It also works with a mouse or the spacebar on a computer.

How do challenges work?

After a run, tap “Challenge a friend” to send a link. Your friend plays the exact same level and races your ghost — a replay of your run — to see who wins.
