Pour

Stop at the line. Mind the foam. A free one-tap game.

Play nowHold to pour

Pour is a one-button drink pouring game. Glasses roll down the counter and stop under the tap. Hold anywhere to pour and let go when the drink reaches the dotted line. The catch is that the stream is still falling when you let go, and fizzy drinks keep foaming up for a moment after, so you have to stop early by just the right amount. Land it on the line for a PERFECT. Fall short or spill over the rim and you lose one of three hearts. Water and lemonade are gentle. Cola, berry fizz and the root float foam like crazy. There's a new bar every day, and friends' ghost glasses fill up on the shelf behind you.

How to play Pour

  1. Wait for the glass to stop under the tap.
  2. Hold anywhere to pour. Let go to close the tap.
  3. Stop so the drink settles on the dotted line. The green band around it is a PERFECT.
  4. Over the rim is a spill. Under the line when the customer gives up is too short. Either way you lose a heart.

Tips to get a high score

How the bar gets busier

Pour ramps up by whichever comes first: 24 glasses served or about 70 seconds of play. By then the tap pours about twice as fast, the line has moved from around 60% of the way up the glass to around 86%, and the 'close enough' margin under the line has halved. Customers' patience drops from about 5.5 seconds to under 3.

New things arrive in a set order. The first two drinks are water in a plain tumbler, then come two lemonades. From the fifth glass, fizzy drinks show up about a third of the time, rising to 70%. Tall glasses and mugs appear from the third glass, and the narrow flute, which fills about 35% faster than a tumbler, from the seventh.

After 24 glasses the tap keeps speeding up with every glass, up to three and a half times as fast, so every run ends eventually.

What counts as served

Every glass you serve scores exactly 1, PERFECT or not. A PERFECT means the drink settled inside a thin band around the line. It builds a streak, and every third PERFECT in a row gives a coin for hats.

A glass is served once the drink is close enough to the line and you've stopped pouring for half a second. Above the line is fine, as long as nothing reaches the rim. So a little too high costs you nothing, while too short costs a heart. When in doubt, aim slightly over.

The spill check runs the whole time you're at the tap, including foam that's still rising after you let go. Once a glass is served, it's safe. The foam can keep climbing as it slides away without costing you anything.

Reading the foam

Each drink rises by a different amount from the same pour. Lemonade ends up about a quarter higher than water, berry fizz about 60% higher, cola close to 80%, and root float more than double. Most of that extra is foam, and it arrives late, climbing for about a second after the liquid lands.

Foam settles only very slowly, so the head won't shrink fast enough to save a glass that's about to spill. Plan for the peak, not for where it ends up.

The tap takes about a tenth of a second to open fully, so a very quick tap lets out only a splash. That makes short taps a good way to top up a glass that came up short, especially with the fizzy drinks, where a full-flow pour would overshoot.

FAQ

Why did my drink spill after I let go?

The stream already in the air still lands, and fizzy drinks keep foaming for a moment. Let go a little before the line, and earlier for cola and root float.

Can I top up a glass?

Yes. If you're still under the line you can pour again before the customer runs out of patience. Once it's near or above the line and you've stopped pouring for a moment, it's served.

Is it free?

Yes. Every Tapamine game is free to play in your browser with no download and no account.

Does it work on my phone?

Yes. Tapamine is built for phones first: portrait, one thumb, and it works offline after your first visit. It also works with a mouse or the spacebar on a computer.

How do challenges work?

After a run, tap “Challenge a friend” to send a link. Your friend plays the exact same level and races your ghost — a replay of your run — to see who wins.
